Remember way back in July when Republicans advanced an amendment to rename the "John F. Kennedy Opera House" to the "First Lady Melania Trump Opera House?"

However, on Thursday, we got news that it would be renamed to the "Trump-Kennedy Center."

For those who don't know, Trump appointed himself chairman of the Kennedy Center board and replaced multiple board members with Trump loyalists.

Earlier this year, JFK's nephew, Jack Schlossberg, posted about it: "President Trump is obsessed with my grandfather — but not in his life or what he achieved in it. No, just like @robertfkennedyjr @realdonaldtrump is only interested in JFK’s carcass."
