Pardoned nearly 1,600 January 6 Capitol rioters on his very first day back in office, including Oath Keepers and Proud Boys leaders convicted of seditious conspiracy. At least 40 of those pardoned rioters have already been rearrested, charged, or sentenced for new crimes since walking free.
