Μια ένορκη κατάθεση, ηλικίας άνω των 60 ετών, που είχε δώσει ένα πρώην μέλος της ναζιστικής παραστρατιωτικής οργάνωσης SA (Sturmabteilub-Τάγματα Εφόδου) ενισχύει τη θέση ότι το Εθνικοσοσιαλιστικό Κόμμα του Αδόλφου Χίτλερ ήταν υπεύθυνο για την πυρκαγιά στο Ράιχσταγκ το 1933, σύμφωνα με γερμανικά μέσα ενημέρωσης. Το έγγραφο αυτό, που αποκαλύφθηκε από τον όμιλο ΜΜΕ RND, χρονολογείται από το 1955 και προέρχεται από τα αρχεία του διοικητικού δικαστηρίου του Ανόβερου. Το δικαστήριο επιβεβαίωσε ότι είναι αυθεντικό. Η μαρτυρία αυτή αποκαθιστά τον υποτιθέμενο δράστη του εμπρησμού, τον Ολλανδό κομμουνιστή συνδικαλιστή Μαρίνους βαν ντερ Λούμπε, ο οποίος είχε καταδικαστεί σε θάνατο και εκτελέστηκε το 1934.

People have long dreamed of re-shaping the Martian climate to make it livable for humans. Carl Sagan was the first outside of the realm of science fiction to propose terraforming. In a 1971 paper, Sagan suggested that vaporizing the northern polar ice caps would "yield ~10 sg cm-2 of the atmosphere over the planet, higher global temperatures through the greenhouse effect, and a greatly increased likelihood of liquid water."

A newly found asteroid has been spotted orbiting the Sun, whizzing past the star every 151 days, the shortest orbit of any space rock on record. Known as 2019 LF6, this asteroid is quite large, at 1 kilometer (0.6 miles) across and is part of the "Atira" asteroid group, 20 space rocks whose orbits fall entirely within Earth's.

Μετά από 4 χρόνια λυσσαλέου πολέμου εναντίον μιας κυβέρνησης που υπεράσπισε την εργατική τάξη, τους φτωχούς και τους ανέργους όσο καλύτερα μπορούσε και κράτησε την ακροδεξιά μέσα στη λαγουδότρυπά της, η Ελλάδα επιστρέφει στα χέρια των ολιγαρχών, των ρατσιστών και της διαπλοκής. Η νίκη της οικογενειοκρατίας, των Μητσοτάκηδων και Μαρινάκηδων, των Αδώνιδων και των Βορίδηδων δεν αφήνει πολλές αμφιβολίες για το πώς θα κυλήσουν τα πράματα εις το εξής. Η πολιτική εξαφάνιση της Χρυσής Αυγής σημαίνει ουσιαστικά ότι όλα τα σταγονίδια του φασισμού επέστρεψαν στην κονοβουλευτική τους φωλιά για να ασκήσουν κυβερνητικό έργο υπό τη σημαία του νεοφιλελευθερισμού. Ίσως το μόνο θετικό είναι ότι ο ΣΥΡΙΖΑ έδειξε τα δόντια του και διατήρησε τη συνοχή του. Αν είχε διαλυθεί στα εξ ων συνετέθη, και η Φώφη με τα πράσινα ζόμπι έβγαιναν από το χρονοντούλαπο και επέστρεφαν δυναμικά στο κοινοβούλιο, τότε θα μιλούσαμε όντως για καταστροφή Μικρασιατικής κλίμακας. Ευτυχώς τα χειρότερα απεφεύχθησαν.

The third week in June began with a broad political discussion on whether Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’s designation of migrant detention centers as “concentration camps” was the correct nomenclature for holding rooms in which 41 detainees live in a cell built for eight. It ended with heinous reports of the conditions at said camps, where undocumented migrant children are being held away from their families in conditions “worse than jail,” according to physician Dolly Lucio Sevier, who wrote up a medical declaration obtained by ABC News after visiting Border Patrol holding facilities along the border in Texas.
